Selective demolition for renovation projects
Interior demolition is more than removing materials. The work must leave the site ready for the trades and finishes that follow. NXTL reviews what stays, what goes, how materials leave the property and how adjacent surfaces will be protected. We can complete a focused removal package or coordinate demolition with drywall, painting, rubbish removal and turnover cleanup.
Typical scopes include office and retail strip-outs, non-structural wall and ceiling removal, millwork and fixture removal, flooring removal and preparation for a new layout. Structural demolition, utility disconnection, hazardous-material work and permit requirements must be identified and handled by the appropriate qualified parties.
Planning access, protection and disposal
Before mobilization, we confirm loading access, elevator or stair restrictions, disposal arrangements, building hours and the condition in which the area must be returned. For occupied or shared properties, the work plan may also address dust migration, noise windows and protected travel paths.
Debris is removed according to the agreed scope and site rules. When practical, materials can be separated to support the project’s disposal or recycling requirements. The final handoff includes removal of demolition debris and a work area prepared for the next scheduled phase.
For a useful demolition quote
Provide drawings or marked-up photos, approximate dimensions, the floor and unit location, loading details, working-hour restrictions and the date the area must be ready. Tell us about any known asbestos survey, hazardous-material report or building-management requirements.
Interior demolition questions
Do you remove load-bearing walls?
Not as a standard selective-demolition scope. Structural work requires proper engineering, permits and an agreed plan before removal begins.
Can you work after business hours?
After-hours or phased work can be reviewed based on the project, building rules, disposal access and crew availability.
Do you provide post-demolition cleanup?
Yes. Cleanup and debris removal can be included so the area is ready for the next trade, subject to the agreed handoff condition.
